Abstract: When I walk into my University’s classroom in fall semester, I notice that many of my
friends are talking about the netflix TV show Squigame made from South Korea. My
friend sare curious about how the show is so different from the previous TV. shows. So
I wanted to analyze about how Squidgame became succesful using Kaggle’s data that has
50000 observations of information about Twitters commenting about Squidgame through
#hashtag from https://www.kaggle.com/deepcontractor/squid-game-netflix-twitter-data

This graph shows the relative success that Squidgame had with other top movies in the long term. While Suidgame was number one in hours watched within 28 days, the total number of hours watching the entire epside ranks as top 6 in the world which is a relative success while there are other Netflix shows like You, Maid, and 3 Reasons Why that had a long term success.
The graph above indicates that Squidgame ranks #1 worldwide for most views within the
28 days of the show’s release. I was curious about how this particular show became a big
show within the short-term.
Overall, as you can see as above graph,
Iphone was used most to tweet followed by Android. The total count for Twitter iPhone was over 25000 while Twitter for Android was just above 20000.
Looking at country distribution, we notice that the top 3 commentors are located in the United States, United Kingdom, and India for which countries made comments in Twitter the most.
Which country and what device used the comments for Twitter the most?
Users tweet about squidgame 14 percent more during weekdays than weekends.
We notice that for users in India, the Android users grew exponentially after 2020. In U.S. Iphone users skyrocketed in 2020. Simiarly, in U.S., it is at least twice more likely that users will be using Iphone than Android

Considering that Twttier can only be signed up by ages equal or over 17, this means that people signed up in 2021 could be 17 years old or older. This indicates that younger genrations 17 years or older that recently signed up to twitter comment more about squidgame compared to people signed up in 2007 who are at least over 34
Android is used widely with users less than 200 twitter friends. On the other hand, in U.S., relatively more people use iPhone and there is a high variation of user friends across 1 to 1000 friends.
